

Upon entering high school, Shôya finally decides he must find Shoko, to make amends for what he did in elementary school and to become her friend. When a deaf elementary school girl named Shoko is forced to transfer to a new school after a boy named Shôya constantly bullies her, Shôya suffers over the consequences of his guilt for years. Known as Koe no Katachi in Japan and based on the original manga by Yoshitoki Oima, A Silent Voice is directed by Naoka Yamada and features animation production by Kyoto Animation. The home video release includes both the original Japanese language version of the film (with English subtitles) as well as the English dubbed version. Eleven Arts and Shout! Factory have joined forces to release the 2016 anime theatrical film, A Silent Voice, in a deluxe Bluray + DVD + digital package that will be published in North America on April 02, 2019.
